Poster Spotlight: How Green is Our Green Future: Life Cycle Assessments For Clean Energy Technologies

The transition to a sustainable energy system necessitates a thorough understanding of the environmental impacts associated with emerging clean energy technologies. This presentation will introduce the value of conducting life cycle assessments (LCAs) and the considerations and methodology for conducting LCA studies of key technologies driving the energy transition. The technologies we will address include wind turbines, solar panels, battery energy storage systems (BESS), electrolyzers, and fuel cells.
